HEY FROM TUCSON

well...i've been here in Tucson for almost three weeks now, and let me say, it's been quite an adventure. I'm enrolled in two classes, Music 109 History of Popular Music and Rock&Roll and Peak Performance. Class is completely different..in music on the first day i had to go to the bathroom, so i went up to ask the teacher and he looked at me like i was crazy for asking and said, if you need to leave just go...wow, culture shock haha!! My other class is the best, it's all athletes and we don't do much of anything other than discuss skills that will help us in the fall...its tons of fun, we all live in the same dorm and hang out. Volleyball hasn't really started yet, so far, me and my other freshmen teammates, Elise, Kaylen, Tiffany, and Stephanie have been doing camp, the system is a lot different than what i'm used to, but everyone is great and helpful so it's been fun. Workouts are slow right now, but that's because we are working on form before we lift and run heavily that way we don't get hurt. It's been a blast so far, even though sometimes homework makes me want to pull my hair out!! But most importantly, i wouldn't trade this for anything, so until next time...
